2015 Malibu tops the J.D. Vehicle Dependability Study.

Chevrolet has just experienced its best performance yet in the 2015 J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study, the industry’s benchmark study for determining vehicle reliability.

Three of the automakers’ vehicles were ranked highest in their segments: the Malibu (Midsize Car), the Camaro (Midsize Sporty Car), and Silverado HD (Large Heavy Duty Pickup). The Tahoe (Large SUV) and Silverado 1500 (Large Light Duty Pickup) also took second, and the Suburban (Large SUV) took third, in each of their respective segments.

In addition, Chevrolet was ranked among the top 10 of all evaluated brands for average dependability across the lineup, with approximately 24 less problems per 100 vehicles compared to the industry average.

“Chevrolet is committed to offering customers a complete lineup of vehicles that deliver great performance, design, and technology, and do it with great value,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet Sales and Service. “Vehicle dependability is a large part of that value, and this prestigious award recognizes our ongoing efforts to further enhance value for our customers.”

In other words, if you believe value and reliability to be among the chief qualities a vehicle should have, you’d probably be well-off with almost any of the models we offer here at Hutch Chevrolet Buick GMC of Paintsville, KY.

Buick Customers Happiest with Service after Sale

Buick Customers Happiest with Dealership Service and MaintenanceHere at Hutch Chevrolet Buick GMC, we take customer satisfaction very seriously, and we’re in good company… In fact, a recent J.D. Power and Associates study revealed that Buick customers are the happiest among all others when it comes to satisfaction with service and maintenance after the purchase.

J.D. Power just gave Buick customers yet another reason to rejoice. In the organization’s annual Customer Service Index Study, over 90,000 vehicle owners were polled, and they were required to rate dealerships according to their service and maintenance satisfaction. Buick edged out worthy competitors like Volkswagen and MINI to reign supreme in the #1 spot. Not surprisingly, Chevrolet and GMC brands found themselves near the top of this list as well with GMC coming in third and Chevy coming in fifth. Results like these make us even prouder to provide customers with the prestigious nameplates we carry.

Chris Sutton, the Senior Director of U.S. Automotive Practice for J.D. Power and Associates explained the relationship created by service and maintenance is one of high importance: “Maintenance packages—whether they’re complimentary or paid for by owners—create a long-term relationship between the customer and dealership, which, when coupled with satisfying service experiences during that period, can have a very positive impact on loyalty rates.”

Buy Buick, and see what all the fuss is about. You’ll rest assured knowing that your car is in good hands for the life of its maintenance needs!

Chevrolet Sweeps Competition to Win Autoweek’s Best of the Best

2014 Corvette Stingray Wins Autoweek's Best of the Best Car AwardWhen Autoweek conducted their annual search for the Best of the Best Car and Truck for 2014, they came to Chevrolet; and in an unprecedented move, Chevrolet swept the awards for both categories of Autoweek‘s Best of the Best titles.

The 2014 Corvette Stingray received the Best of the Best/Car award, and the 2014 Chevy Silverado took home the title of Best of the Best/Truck.

2014 Silverado Named Autoweek's Best of the Best TruckAutoweek defines a car as any sedan, coupe, hatchback, convertible, or wagon. The truck category includes pickups, crossovers, SUVs, and minivans.

Autoweek thoroughly tested hundreds of new and significantly modified vehicles to find the best in performance, economy, style, and reliability among other categories.

The staff drove the vehicles around the track, through the streets of Detroit, and even on vacation. The Autoweek staff on the West Coast tested the same vehicles on the terrain on their side of the country and added their experiences to the evaluation.

From AutoWeek’s write up on the Stingray: “The Chevy got high marks for its flexible engine—‘monster torque,’ wrote one staffer—great brakes, and rock-solid chassis and handling. ‘There’s an eagerness here that a Corvette’s never had,’ said one tester. Other logbook comments included ‘amazing agility,’ ‘the engine is wonderful’ and ‘jeez-o-pete, this car has NO body roll.’”

When all was said in done, Autoweek declared Chevrolet’s 2014 Corvette Stingray and 2014 Silverado “the Best of the Best, pure and simple.”

Here at Hutch Chevrolet Buick GMC, we are proud to officially offer you Autoweek‘s Best of the Best, nationally recognized vehicles known for excellence and superior performance.
