You will not want to leave your all-new 2016 Cruze parked for long!
Chevrolet has introduced the all-new 2016 Cruze, which is shaping up to be a big improvement over the existing yet already impressive model.
The upcoming Cruze will be both larger and lighter, allowing for more interior room and increased efficiency. It will also come with a whole new suite of sophisticated technology, such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and active safety systems that help everyone stay safe.
Under the hood, the 2016 Cruze will pack a new, standard 1.4-liter turbocharged engine with direct injection that produces 153 horsepower. GM estimates that the sedan will do about 40 mpg on the highway, partly thanks to stop/start technology and partly because of the weight-saving measures that have helped the Cruze trim about 250 pounds.
“It seems that Chevy has gotten the package right, with some of the best materials to be found in a compact car, plenty of space and a dramatically improved multimedia experience,” said Cars.com.
The car semms to be a huge step forward, and we cannot wait to have you test drive yours at Hutch Chevrolet Buick GMC of Paintsville, KY!
CNG-powered Sonic and Cruze are as green as they come…going green that is!
Crazy Diamond Performance is known for taking some of Chevrolet’s popular small cars and turning them into compressed natural gas (CNG) monsters. The company’s latest creations: the CNG-powered Sonic and Cruze.
The Michigan-based company recently received approval from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for these two new CNG-powered vehicles, making them a terrific, eco-friendly choice for transportation.
The CNG-powered Sonic and Cruze will target consumers looking to cut fuel costs and their carbon footprints. Currently, CNG is sold for around $2 per gallon, which is similar to current gasoline prices, but the more eco-friendly gas’s average CO2 emissions are around 25% lower than gas-powered vehicles.
Each of the two models will have a range of about 300 miles on a single tank of compressed natural gas, giving it a farther range than many gasoline-powered vehicles.
The price for the CNG-powered Cruze will start at a low $26,000, while the turbocharged version goes for about $28,000. If you’re interested in learning more about Chevrolet’s small cars, make sure you stop in to Hutch Chevrolet today and see what options we have to offer you!
Chevrolet all over the world with the new Chevrolet Cruze interior
Here at Hutch Chevrolet, we like to stay up to date on Chevrolet news all over the world. This latest bit of international news comes from Shanghai, China. If you remember, the exterior of the new Chevrolet Cruze was unveiled at Auto China in April. We already get to see the interior, just a few short months later!
Both the exterior and the interior of the new Chevrolet Cruze are a part of the design theme following the slogan: “Design with a Heartbeat.” The technology in the interior of this car is definitely the heart that people will not be able to live without.
The technology is top of the line. For starters, the new Chevrolet Cruze comes with the Chevrolet MyLink II system. This system allows for the drivers smartphone to become a part of their car by accessing music, contact lists, directions, and pictures. Even though this would be enough to blow anyone away, the Chevrolet Cruze also comes with built-in APPs and an 8 in. touch screen.
Needless to say, if ths is the incredible technology that is already being added into the vehicles of Chevrolet, we cannot wait to see what comes next! And hopefully it will be right here in the U.S and even better, right here in Paintsville, Kentucky!
With gas prices continually on the rise, it is likely Americans are ready for a change. Chevrolet is preparing an alternate solution to the fuel price crisis with the introduction of the 2014 Chevy Cruze Diesel.
In a year of debuts, Chevy plans to reveal the Cruze Diesel next week at the Chicago Auto Show. While no major style changes are likely to appear, the powertrain will prove to be different than any other Chevy model to date.
Automotive experts predict Cruze Eco-d will sport a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel I4 engine producing 160 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft. of torque. No fuel efficiency estimates have been released but expect a higher fuel economy than the current Chevy Cruze ECO which achieves up to 42 mpg on the highway. It’s probable that the Cruze Eco-d will top out over 50 mpg with more than 40 mpg for everyday city driving.
Are Americans ready to take the plunge into diesel-powered engines? Chevrolet will be one of the first automakers to test this theory when the Cruze Diesel goes on sale later this year.
