The performance numbers for the 2014 Corvette Stingray equipped with the Z51 Performance Package have been released, and they are quite impressive.
While we have yet to know the performance numbers for the Stingray sans-Performance Package, we do now know what the Z51 Performance Package equipped Corvette Stingray is capable of. If you recall, a while back Chevrolet promised that Corvettes equipped with the Z51 Package would hit 60 mph in under four seconds and be capable of corning with more than 1g. Well, we now know that they have delivered on that promise. The 2014 Corvette Stingray will reach 0-60 in a mere 3.8 seconds, and will pull 1.03g while cornering.
Beyond these known figures, Chevrolet is also promising quarter miles times of 12 seconds and taking only 107 feet to stop from 60.
The 2014 Corvette Stingray is expected to arrive here at Hutch Chevrolet Buick GMC later this year.
Chevrolet and GMC have recently released the complete, full-blown, configurator for the 2014 Silverado and 2014 Sierra. At the time being, you’re only able to build out the Crew Cab models, since they are the only ones available right now. Expect the Regular Cab and Double Cab flavors to show up as they are released.
There are plenty of options for both of these trucks when you build your own, which makes it that much easier to set your truck apart from the rest and make it unique to you. Here at Hutch Chevrolet Buick GMC we’ve spent a little bit of time playing around with the tool and have came up with some pretty nice trucks, but my favorite so far has been a 4-Wheel Drive Chevy Silverado LTZ Z71 in Tungsten Metallic with 22” wheels, chrome tow hooks, black tubular side steps, cargo box LED lighting, and o so much more.
What are some of the things you’d put on your 2014 Silverado or Sierra?
There is only one thing, well four really, that connects your vehicle to the ground. When you really think about that, you realize how important they are. Traction, stopping distance, and reaction time are just some of the things that the tires have a huge impact on.
No matter what tires you buy, you’ll eventually need to replace them. To do that, you need to have an idea on what to look for. So what do you need? Well, luckily your old tires have this information on them – But maybe you want to know what it all means? Luckily for you, Autobytel was kind enough to put together a video giving a quick overview of what it all means!

GM recently broke news that select 2014 Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC models will be covered by their new maintenance plan. The plan will cover certain scheduled maintenance services for two years or 24,000 miles; whichever comes first.
“We know that customers who service their vehicles at our dealerships are much more likely to purchase another GM product down the road,” Akerson said. “It’s all the more important to bring customers to our service facilities for routine maintenance to further enhance the quality and reliability of their GM vehicles.”
What you can expect from the scheduled maintenance program is a complete oil change with filter, four-wheel tire rotation, and a 27-point vehicle inspection. For those who purchased their vehicle before this was announced, we have good news for you; you will also be covered by this fantastic program as well!
