We all do it to some degree, even if we don’t want to admit it. Our favorite song comes on the radio while cruising down the road and we start to sing along; some better than others. Well, The Gentlemen Mutineers, a Detroit based blues-rock band, took it to a whole new level. They recorded what they are calling the “Impala Mix” of their song “Detroit Throttle” inside of the 2014 Chevrolet Impala.
The 2014 Impala uses Active Noise Cancellation technology, which is also used in high-end headphones, to make it the quietest full-sized sedan Chevrolet has ever produced. Mark Pastoria, the Grammy Award-winning audio-engineer of Harmonie Park Studios, worked with The Gentlemen Mutineers recording the song from inside the Impala.
After listening to the recording through the Impala’s audio system Pastoria had expressed his amazement with how quiet the Impala was, even with traffic right outside the car. “It was important that we wouldn’t hear background noise while recording, and with all that was going on outside the car, I am astounded that we couldn’t hear any of it. The Impala rocks,” said Pastoria.

In October 2nd of 1913 the Chevrolet bowtie made its debut in the Washington Post; making this year the 100th anniversary of one of the most recognizable nameplates in America.
Over those 100 years the bowtie has seen 25 product launches helping Chevrolet and its customers find new roads. Beyond that, there have been 10 different variations of the famed symbol; most variations are quite similar, but much like Chevrolet itself, the bowtie is always evolving.
“The Chevrolet bowtie is recognized around the world and has become synonymous with American ingenuity,” said Chevrolet Chief Marketing Officer Tim Mahoney. “Whether you’re pulling thousands of pounds through rocky terrain in a Silverado pickup or commuting in a Spark EV, Chevrolet’s bowtie will always be at the very front of your travels.”
Hutch Chevrolet is proud to be a part of the Chevrolet family and would like to thank all of its customers for all of your support.
The Bumblebee Camaro for the upcoming Transformers 4 movie has been revealed; and it just may give some hints towards what to expect for future Camaros.
Bumblebee has by far been one of the most well-known and loved Autobots, especially since the inception of Michael Bay’s movies of the iconic Transformers franchise. As such, once vehicles started getting revealed for Transformers 4, he was one of the most anticipated. Once his new skin finally got revealed it was worth the wait.
The 2014 Bumblebee Camaro Concept has quite a few interesting points; two of our favorites at Hutch Chevrolet are the aggressive nose with totally reworked headlights and the fuel filler hiding right before the B-pillar.
What do you think of the Bumblebee Camaro concept?
