2015 GMC Terrain will Improve on 2014 Model (Pictured) By Adding OnStar 4G LTE TechStarting this summer, several 2015 GMC models will begin offering OnStar 4G LTE technology via a personal Wi-Fi hotspot, and the first vehicle to feature the special technology will be the Terrain, as well as its upscale brother, the Terrain Denali. The Wi-Fi spots are pretty powerful, too; they’ll be able to support up to seven devices at the same time.

“This technology is a great feature for all of our customers,” said Duncan Aldred, U.S. vice president of Buick and GMC. “From those who use their Sierra or Yukon as a mobile office, to the families taking trips in any of our vehicles, they can enjoy the benefits of 4G LTE for work or play.”

The Terrain will be followed by vehicles like the Sierra, Sierra HD, Yukon and Yukon XL, and even the Canyon, GMC’s all-new mid-size truck. With this technology, you’ll be able to download movies, send emails, play games, and even use special OnStar apps like Famigo and TumblebooksTV. When you add these technological advantages to GMC’s already excellent reputation for excellence and reliability, you’ve got one awesome lineup. Buick Makes Rearview Camera Feature Standard for 2015 Lineup

Rearview Camera Will Come Standard on All 2015 BuicksAs Buick readies a new model year of excellent luxury cars and SUVs, the brand has once again pushed ahead of other carmakers by making new and progressive technology, especially safety technology, standard on all 2015 models. For the new year, all Buick models—including the Encore, Enclave, LaCrosse, Regal, Verano, etc.—will come standard with a rearview camera.

Research studies have shown that rearview cameras significantly reduce the risk of crashing. Buick, knowing their customers want the best in all aspects of their luxury driving experience, has therefore made the rearview camera standard instead of optional on all of their new 2015 cars.

If you’ve never reversed with the aid of a backup camera, you truly don’t know how much easier life can be…

“We know our customers are very safety conscious,” Duncan Aldred, U.S. vice president of Buick and GMC, said. “The current Buick lineup holds many safety accolades, but we are always pushing to be at the forefront with our vehicles being among the safest available.”

At Hutch Chevrolet Buick GMC, we’re still waiting on these 2015 models to start pouring in, but we already have an inventory of excellent, class-leading vehicles across many segments, with tons of standard features for your convenience, safety, and love of technology!

Chevy Suburban and Tahoe Outselling Expectations

Chevy Suburban and Tahoe Reign Supreme in SUV SegmentNo brand has ever dominated a segment the way that Chevrolet continues to dominate the competition when it comes to SUVs. In fact, the Bow Tie brand actually invented the segment with the original Suburban back in 1935, and Chevy’s never relinquished control of its own creation. Even now, in the middle of 2014, Chevy’s two full-size SUVs continue to govern the SUV segment. Sales of both the Chevy Suburban and Tahoe are booming to such a degree that production is having a hard time keeping up, easily outstripping expectations for both vehicles.

“Chevrolet’s all-new Suburban and Tahoe offer improved quality, advanced technology and increased fuel efficiency, yet they retain their impressive towing capabilities,” Karl Brauer, senior analyst for Kelley Blue Book, said, explaining the sales numbers for the SUVs. Both vehicles saw sales increases of more than 100% over April 2013, helping Chevy confidently claim basically half of the segment market.

Chevrolet executives are excited about the two vehicles too. “The Tahoe and Suburban are the leading vehicles in the segment, and some of the best Chevrolet has ever built,” Brian Sweeney, Chevy’s U.S. vice president, said. “The demand for these refined, functional, and technology-driven models is proof that consumers agree, as well.”
