Have you been anxiously waiting for the 2016 Chevy Camaro release?

After months of slowly leaking the details and pictures of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, it is finally here. The much-anticipated vehicle is about to hit dealerships all across the country for commercial purchase.

The first three completed Camaro models—a white one, red one, and blue one—recently rolled off of the line at the GM’s Lansing plant ceremoniously, to welcome the beginning of the Camaro’s trip to dealerships. Considering the amount of awards given to the 2015 model, it’s safe to say that the 2016 version will be something special, especially since it is already on the short list for the 2016 North American Car of the Year award.

“The sixth generation is a new ball game,” said Scott Whybrew, GM’s North American manufacturing manage. “Our goal is to put the Mustang in our rear view mirror every day.”

The 2016 Camaro reportedly will sport better fuel efficiency than its predecessor, while it will also be more powerful overall. Make sure you keep an eye out for the 2016 Chevy Camaro, which is set to arrive on dealerships later this month. Learn more at Hutch Chevrolet Buick GMC of Paintsville, KY!

All-New 2016 Camaro Convertible Roof Lowers at 30 MPH

New just imagine this as the all-new 2016 Camaro convertible with the top down!

New just imagine this as the all-new 2016 Camaro convertible with the top down!

Hutch Chevrolet is happy to announce that the all-new 2016 Camaro Convertible will soon be in our showrooms, which will further refine the Camaro driving experience for all you drop-top lovers out there.

Compared to the regular 2016 Camaro, this model is entirely the same from the waist down. Above the beltline, however, is an all-new, fully automatic canvas roof that can be raised and lowered at impressive speeds up to 30 miles per hour.

Our favorite feature is that it can be remotely opened with the key fob. That means we can leave behind the days of stepping into the car, pressing a button to lower the top, and only then being able to get going. With the 2016 Camaro Convertible, all you needs to do is press the button on the key fob while walking to the car and watch as the top neatly folds away by the time you get into the vehicle. No fuss, no wait!

Fifth generation Camaro sales hit 500,000.

The fifth generation Camaro, now in its final model year, is getting ready to race into the record books with the sale of its 500,000th model.

Hitting the market in August of 2009 as a 2010 model, it did not take long for the fifth generation Camaro sales to surpass the Ford Mustang and become the best-selling performance car in the U.S. five years in a row.

The 2015 Chevrolet Camaro, which has helped increase sales by 7%, comes in a wide range of models including the 323-hp V6 LS/LT coupe or convertible; the 426-hp, V8 Camaro SS coupe or convertible; the 580-hp, supercharged Camaro ZL1 coupe or convertible, and the Camaro Z/28 – that comes ready for the track.

“The fifth-generation Camaro has clearly resonated with both long-time Camaro fans, and first time performance-car buyers,” Todd Christensen, Camaro marketing manager, said in a release. “That sets the bar high for the next chapter of the car’s history,” which will be the sixth-gen Camaro set to arrive in May.

Be sure to come visit us at Hutch Chevrolet to make this brawny fifth generation Camaro, and soon the sixth-gen, part of your lineup today.

Three Chevrolet Vehicles Top 2015 J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study

2015 Malibu tops the J.D. Vehicle Dependability Study.

2015 Malibu tops the J.D. Vehicle Dependability Study.

Chevrolet has just experienced its best performance yet in the 2015 J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study, the industry’s benchmark study for determining vehicle reliability.

Three of the automakers’ vehicles were ranked highest in their segments: the Malibu (Midsize Car), the Camaro (Midsize Sporty Car), and Silverado HD (Large Heavy Duty Pickup). The Tahoe (Large SUV) and Silverado 1500 (Large Light Duty Pickup) also took second, and the Suburban (Large SUV) took third, in each of their respective segments.

In addition, Chevrolet was ranked among the top 10 of all evaluated brands for average dependability across the lineup, with approximately 24 less problems per 100 vehicles compared to the industry average.

“Chevrolet is committed to offering customers a complete lineup of vehicles that deliver great performance, design, and technology, and do it with great value,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet Sales and Service. “Vehicle dependability is a large part of that value, and this prestigious award recognizes our ongoing efforts to further enhance value for our customers.”

In other words, if you believe value and reliability to be among the chief qualities a vehicle should have, you’d probably be well-off with almost any of the models we offer here at Hutch Chevrolet Buick GMC of Paintsville, KY.

Bumblebee Camaro Gives a Look into the Future

Bumblebee CamaroThe Bumblebee Camaro for the upcoming Transformers 4 movie has been revealed; and it just may give some hints towards what to expect for future Camaros.

Bumblebee has by far been one of the most well-known and loved Autobots, especially since the inception of Michael Bay’s movies of the iconic Transformers franchise. As such, once vehicles started getting revealed for Transformers 4, he was one of the most anticipated. Once his new skin finally got revealed it was worth the wait.

The 2014 Bumblebee Camaro Concept has quite a few interesting points; two of our favorites at Hutch Chevrolet are the aggressive nose with totally reworked headlights and the fuel filler hiding right before the B-pillar.

Camaro Edges Out Mustang for 2nd Straight Year

2013 Chevrolet CamaroIt’s the battle of the muscle cars and the Camaro takes the title for the second year in a row. Chevrolet dealers sold more than 84,000 Camaros last year, more than 1,000 more than their rival, the Ford Mustang.

This year was a closer margin than last year where the Camaro blew away the Mustang in 2011 sales. Chevy sold more than 17,000 Camaros than Ford sold Mustangs in all of 2011.

It has always been a tight race between the Camaro and the Mustang but Chevy still proves their cars come out on top. The Camaro is a 2-door car available in with a hard top or as a convertible and has been a staple in the Chevy lineup for more than 50 years. The Camaro is in its 5th generation and is looking to be redesigned in 2015.

Expect the Camaro to retain the title for 2013 sales with the release of the new Chevy Camaro ZL1 that achieves an amazing 580 horsepower under a V8 engine. For more information on the Chevy Camaro, visit Hutch Chevrolet online at http://hutchchevrolet.com or in-store in Paintsville, KY.
